ACUTONICS® THERAPY

Acutonics® is a relaxing, non-invasive, gentle therapy that is similar to Acupuncture, however uses specifically calibrated tuning forks instead of needles. As Acutonics® has its roots in the deep wisdom of Traditional Chinese medicine,  this soothing yet powerful sound treatment may be useful for variety of health conditions such as back pain, insomnia, emotional stress, and adrenal fatigue to name a few, however it can also be a treatment simply to bliss out, recharge, and relax.

The vibrations and frequencies of the tuning forks travel through & into the body on a deep level. As the tuning forks are placed on the body, muscles and acupuncture points, the sound travels through the body’s energy pathways, meridians and chakras, which is thought to bring change and harmony throughout the physical body and energetic system. Although an ancient practice, research is still in its infancy in the whole area of biofield therapies, although early indications are promising (1).

Tibetan Bowls and sound healing instruments are used to further create this soothing sound bath that promotes healing on many levels. Acutonics® therapeutic use of tuning forks and sound healing frequencies on the body stimulates the body’s physical and subtle energy field to promote healing, attunement and wellness on many levels. These frequencies and healing tones support the body’s natural frequencies to bring back balance and harmony of mind, body and spirit.

currumbin Clinic closure + Update

Now that our beautiful Nuwa Tugun clinic is up and running, the time has come to close the doors of our beloved space at Currumbin.

Our Currumbin clinic has been a safe haven and a healing sanctuary for all of our patients over the years, and while we are saddened to see it go, we are excited for all that is to come at our stunning space in Tugun.

Our final day at Currumbin will be Monday, August 7, and we will be slowly transitioning our patients to the new spacious clinic only a couple of kilometres down the road over the next few weeks. We look so forward to welcoming our existing and new patients into the Nuwa Tugun space!
